Jan. 3, 2011 - Read Psalm 32:6-11 "The Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says, "Only in returning to me and waiting for me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength." Isaiah 30:15 - TRUST GOD (My family and I needed to hear this devotion today, financial burdens and the cares of this life can really weigh you down. If you are experiencing a heavy heart, financial burdens, loss of income, a departed loved one, I want to encourage you today to "TRUST GOD" and give every care over to Him. The hardest thing to do sometimes is to trust. People fail us, the economy is failing us, the government fails us, family even can fail us. But God, He will never will fail us as long as we put our faith in trust in Him. Greg and I many times go through hardships, but we've gotten this far by our faith, and so has everyone else whether they recognize it or not. God is not concerned about the economy because He can feed His children even in the midst of an economic famine. Times may be tight for us, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor have seen them out begging for bread. Be encouraged today, and believe God no matter what things look like.
